This prototype was developed as part of my Narrative Design course, set within my original world Carnivore, a cyberpunk-horror setting where neon-soaked streets hide grotesque threats beneath the surface.
I built a small quest in Unreal Engine, focusing on both atmosphere and storytelling. Enemy AI was created using Blueprints, supported by free assets from the Fab library to help bring the world to life. The goal was to test how narrative beats, level design, and gameplay could come together to create a tense and immersive atmosphere.
Skills applied:
Voice Direction – directed character dialogue to match the intended tone and atmosphere
Unreal Prototyping – quickly built and tested ideas directly in-engine
Blueprints Scripting – set up basic AI behaviors and quest logic with Blueprints
Narrative Design – integrated story elements naturally into the flow of gameplay
Level Design – blocked out environments and placed assets to shape mood and pacing
